Overview

Overstory is a design concept for a carbon accounting product, drawn as a full 1440px pricing page. The pricing argument is in the headline: plans are sized by tonnes of CO2e reconciled, not by seats, and auditors, analysts and read-only stakeholders are free on every tier. Three plans run from a free Field tier through Canopy at $480 a month to a custom Old Growth tier, with a monthly and annual toggle that shows the annual saving against the struck-through monthly price. Below, a comparison table gives the middle plan a tinted column, and an FAQ answers the five questions this pricing model invites, including what happens on overage and what leaving returns.

The pricing model is the headline

"Pay for what you measure" states the unit before any number appears, and the subhead removes the usual per-seat worry by making auditors and read-only stakeholders free on every tier.

One plan carried through the page

Canopy is marked as most chosen on the card, tinted in the comparison table and repeated in the CTA row beneath it. The recommendation is made once and then held, instead of three equal columns leaving the choice open.

Questions answered before they are asked

The FAQ takes the five questions this model invites: what counts as a tonne, what happens on overage, switching mid-year, who is free, and what you get back if you leave. Each answer is specific, including the 30-day deletion window.
